About Us

With more than 10 years of dedicated experience in the auto detailing industry, I am reentering the field after many years with a focus on paint correction through Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) and polishing practices. With both PDR and polishing, I want your vehicle's exterior to remind you of the new car look and protect it!

Most good detailers have encountered a number of challenges. Understanding what defects can be corrected and how to address each correction becomes instinct over time. It becomes a craft. I'd even go so far as to say it's an art. My approach to detailing exteriors is not about getting as many as I can done in a particular time to make me a millionaire, but rather, to continue my craft and bring my skills to a car that really needs correction, love and protection.

I started detailing cars around 1978 and continued to about 1990. During that time, I estimate I polished close to 3000 cars. Yep, I have seen many scenarios when polishing paint and the wonderful experience for a customer when they see their shiny vehicle. I worked for the Puddle Car wash in Boulder Colorado when I started (1978). I was an Interior cleaner. I watched the other guys polishing and said "That's what I want to do". It wasn't long before I got behind a polisher and learned how to bring paint back to life. Some were pretty bad as clear coat wasn't used as much; at least not like it is today. I would go home with the color of the day all over me!

It wasn't long until I opened my first detail shop in Boulder (1981), "Boulder Polish Shop". I had good success with business and focused mostly on cars from dealerships. I wanted to make a change and try detailing in California where I opened a new detailing business in National City California (the mile of cars) called Diamond Detail (1983). It was an instant success with business from many of the dealerships and retail customers. Short lived it was and by 1985 I wanted to return to Boulder, and I went to work for a good friend and owner of Karosserie Fabrik. I spent the last years of detailing primarily focused on high-end cars and getting to know the body work business.

I went back to school in 1991 and made a change to IT where I have had a wonderful career. But, I always still had the passion for cars and have done some polishing work over the years. I am so happy to be back in this business and to bring my old skills married to many new techniques and improvements to paint correction and protection. Something unique to my service that not many offer is the ability to correct minor dents as part of the "Beautification" process.

I look forward to bringing quality services to rejuvenate your car's exterior look and give you that good feeling again!
